Explanation of Parameters
IW (I) Argument of one word length for shifting the bit pattern.
N (I) Number of bits to shift. Shifts to the left when N¡ä0. The bits that have overflowed on the left side are filled in on the right (circular shift). Shifts to the right when N<0 The bits that have overflowed on the right are discarded (end-off shift).
ISHIFT (I) The value of a function which returns the result of shifting.
