4.b.ii. Ground and surface temperature

Figure 12c shows the time development of the vertical profiles of horizontal mean ground temperature, horizontal mean surface temperature, and horizontal mean atmospheric temperature at about 1.5 m height of the 6th day of the dusty case. The amplitude of diurnal change of surface temperature is about 10 K smaller and the value of surface temperature is 5 K higher than those of the dust-free case (Figure 3c)
