Figure 12c shows the time development of
the vertical profiles of horizontal mean ground temperature,
horizontal mean surface temperature, and horizontal mean
atmospheric temperature at about 1.5 m height of the 6th day
of the dusty case.
The amplitude of diurnal change of surface temperature is
about 10 K smaller and the value of surface temperature is
5 K higher than those of the dust-free case
(Figure 3c)
Figure 12c:
(Left panel) Diurnal change of the vertical profile of horizontal
mean ground temperature.
Profiles are for every 4 hours from LT = 8:00
of the sixth day of the dusty case.
Number on each line indicates local time.
Vertical axis is normalized by the diurnal skin depth.
(Right panel) Diurnal change of horizontal mean surface
temperature (red line) and atmospheric temperature at about 1.5 m
height (blue line) of the sixth day.
